Larger Than Life
Noticing the move away from traditional RWD sports cars toward FWD hatchbacks, Shromet engineers retooled the Mystic’s FWD platform to accommodate more powerful engines and independent rear suspension, offering a sports GT car with superior interior volume while maintaining handling and performance. the Result was the 1986 Dragon MK2. While the car was praised as a technical marvel, however it failed to attract either more practicality minded young buyers or more traditional sports car customers.
