INTERVAL Superliminal Concept
THE PHANTOM HYPERCAR
Every Molecule in Service of Speed.
In 2007, the next generation Interval was thoroughly underway, and the design goals were even more ambitious than ever. Shromet was targeting world-record setting hypercar performance, and nothing was off the table. Multiple engine options were proposed, including an ambitious 12.2L W14. In the end, however, it was decided to use the existing V12, bored out to 6.2L, and supercharged to produce over 800 horsepower. The car featured a carbon-composite chassis, an aluminum body, with an all glass roof.
